JACKIE BROWNING AWARDED AIA CHESAPEAKE BAY CHAPTER AWARD: For Extraordinary Contributions and Service to the Chapter

December 1st, 2017 – Baltimore, MD Jackie Browning, V.P. of Business Development and Architectural Specialist for American Cedar & Millwork, was recently awarded AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter, Inaugural Allied Member Award for over 30 years of service, loyalty and dedication to the chapter. The award recognizes an “Allied member of the chapter, in good standing for the past two years, who is not an Associate or Architect, has demonstrated through interest, participation and concern, dedication to the promotion and contribution to the mission of the chapter, above and beyond the normally expected participation of an Allied member." She was formally recognized at the Chesapeake Bay Chapter annual meeting and holiday party on December 6st.

She has a passion for working alongside the Baltimore and Annapolis Architectural communities and contributes significantly to the profession through her advocacy, participation and expertise” says Rich Brady, ACM MD General Manager.

In addition to the Allied Member Award, Jackie was also elected to serve as an Executive Board member in 2018 for the Baltimore Architectural Foundation (BAF) and also received a certificate of recognition for two years of service to the Baltimore AIA Board. Both were announced at the AIA Baltimore Annual Meeting and holiday party on December 1.

Among the other professional recognitions received, she is the proud recipient of the AIA Baltimore President's Award for “Consultant of the Year” where Jackie was “Recognized for continued involvement and long-standing support & service to the Architectural Profession as well as being the expert voice for windows & doors”.

Jackie will continue her leadership role with Baltimore AIA as Chair of the Allied Committee and Chef Night Event for 2018.
