Project Spotlight: University of Maryland – Beltsville Agricultural Research Center Modernization

American Cedar & Millwork is proud to have supplied 122, custom, Marvin windows for the University of Maryland’s Beltsville Agricultural Research Center as part of its ongoing modernization project.

Working with general contractor Grunley Construction and installer Engineered Construction Products LTD (ECP), this project showcases Marvin’s ability to blend historic character with modern performance.

There’s something truly breathtaking about a high, vaulted tongue & groove ceiling — especially when it’s custom-made for a one-of-a-kind home.

This stunning oceanside retreat in Lewes, Delaware features a custom poplar T&G board ceiling paired with custom rough sawn pine beam wraps, creating warmth, texture, and architectural drama that perfectly complement the coastal views.

In this sleek, modern home, an accent wall of Brown Kebony® Character cladding brings the perfect balance of warmth against the crisp cream walls.

With its rich tone, strong grain, and natural knots, Kebony Character adds depth and authenticity to the design — all while being sustainably sourced and built to last.

Nestled in the rolling countryside of Northern Wake County’s Grand Highland Estates, this elegant home was masterfully crafted by EDK Design Build. Materials were thoughtfully sourced through American Cedar & Millwork, with sales representative Danny Kidd assisting in the selection process.
