Distinctive Doors – Done the TruStile Way!

When it comes to the home, your doors speak volumes about your style, the importance you place on detail, and your pride in your home. These days, there seem to be so many cookie-cutter doors… plain and all the same. Return to the days when doors were a representation of architectural excellence, beauty, and distinction. We are proud to carry TruStile doors at American Cedar and Millwork and would like to introduce you to the quality you can expect when you use them in your home building projects.

Materials to Choose From

When you choose a TruStile door for your new home project, there are three different types of material to select from, and each has its advantages when it comes to finishing the door.

Painted doors do well with an MDF (medium-density fiberboard) door. MDF is an engineered wood product made from wood fiber. This material offers the smoothest painting surface and is actually a bit more stable than wood.  Some styles of TruStile MDF doors are available for exterior use.

When you opt to build with a TruStile Wood Door, you get a beautiful wood finish that takes a premium hand-wiped stain perfectly. Your client can choose from sixteen different wood species, all of which are FSC Certified. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifies that TruStile Wood Doors meet global environmental and social standards.

TruStile Reserve™ Wood Doors represent the ultimate luxury door. Built with the very best FSC certified lumber, hand-matched veneers, with a composite core, you can rely on these doors for strength and beauty.

Hinges and Hardware

TruStile doesn’t stop with their high-quality door building materials; even their hinges are available in different options. In their line of architectural-grade hinges, you will be able to select from a variety of finishes.

If your customer prefers, you can elect to have us order their doors with concealed hinges. These give a very sleek, modern look to any door.

Panel Inserts in TruStile Doors

Is your homebuilder customer looking for something really unique and stylish?  You can opt to complete the look of your door with panel inserts, which are available in art glass, resin, leather, even etched glass. These doors can be customized to fit your client’s taste.

Match the Architectural Style of the Home

When your customer is looking for a distinctive door, it must match the architectural style of the home you are building for them. Are they looking for a craftsman style door?  Something in the colonial, or French country style? You can show them doors in a variety of styles… everything from Victorian to Spanish Colonial. Trust TruStile to delight your customer with doors to match their vision.
